SCC football unveils new uniforms for 2019 season
Out of all four seasons in the southern and central portion of Calhoun County, none are more anticipated than the autumn. As leaves change color and begin their descent to the earth, residents ditch the tank tops and shorts for sweaters and jeans.
The mercury begins to trend downward and the humidity starts to subside. The school year shifts into its first gear, as students either pace the hallways or synthesize their lessons in between bells.
Volleyball takes over the gymnasium with after school practices and interscholastic matches. Cross country runners either take to the streets, country roads or the paths of local golf courses in the mornings or evenings.
On the green fields of grass all across the state of Iowa, it’s made quite clear. Football season is in the air.
When the South Central Calhoun football team takes to the field for the 2019 season, there will be a subtle change in their collective appearance.
In a video released by The Graphic-Advocate last Friday evening, the Titans unveiled their new uniforms to the world.
