Heather Snyder has always had a thing for paper.

“When I was little, I used to collect office supplies,” Snyder said, joking that she must have nearly bankrupted her mom with all the stationery and accessories she’d purchase.

Last week, Snyder opened Memories on Main, a scrapbook supplies store, taking her passion and hobby to a new level. The name gives a nod to the store’s location, right on Main Street across from the Lake City square.

“I could spend one day on one page,” she said, adding she sometimes has a hard time deciding when a particular page is complete. Even after she thinks it is done, she fi nds herself adding stickers or other elements.
