Lohrville city council addresses street improvements

The mean streets of Lohrville was one of the main focuses of the City Council of Lohrville’s latest monthly meeting, held on August 13 at the Conference Room in the JJ Hands Library.
After a month of compiling a list of streets in need of being repaved, the Street Committee came up empty handed, as contractors were unable to fit the city of more than 360 residents into their respective 2019 schedules. However, the areas in need of repair will be amended.
Along with taking on street repair, the Lohrville city council approved a quote for new street signs and posts, appointed a City Safety Coordinator and addressed septic tank issues.
