Light joins Rockwell City police

John Light grew up in Rockwell City and graduated from Rockwell City-Lytton High School. After graduating he attended Iowa Central Community College where he graduated with an Associates degree in Criminal Justice.
After graduating he was employed by the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility as a correctional officer for three and a half years. While working there he also worked part-time for the Lake City Police Department.
In 2006, Light went to work for the Wyoming Highway Patrol where he worked for 11 years as a State Trooper. He has been married to his wife Jessica for 2 and a half years. They are both looking forward to making Rockwell City their new home.
