Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Gassman was held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lake City. Visitation was held Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Lampe Funeral Home, Lake City with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Joseph Leo Gassman, 82, of Lake City, passed away October 2, 2018 at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City from complications of West Nile Virus, surrounded by his loving wife and children.
