Jones, Francis selected to IGCA Southwest All-District squad

Even though basketball season is over for the South Central Calhoun girls’ basketball team, there are still plenty of accolades to be acquired.
Senior point guard Maddie Jones and SCC head girls’ basketball coach Eric Francis were recognized as members of the Class 2A Southwest All-District team, announced last Wednesday by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.
Jones - SCC’s all-time leading scorer in girls’ basketball - was named to the All-District team, while Francis was selected as the Southwest District’s Coach of the Year.
