Girls golf team adds another win

Sadie Swank led the South Central Calhoun girls varsity golf team to another victory last week against Twin Lakes Conference foes. Swank score a meet medalist round of 48 as the Titan girls defeated Prairie Valley 210 to 254 at Lake City Country Club Tuesday, April 15 in Lake City.

Medalist runner-up at the meet was SCC’s Katie Welander with a 52. Also counting towards the Titans varsity score was Jenn Hood with a 54 and Jona Grodahl with a 56. Kelsi Carlson (58) and Lauren Shipley (67) also saw varsity action against the Warriors.

In JV action, Julia Seil led the Titans with a 60.

On Thursday, April 17, the Titan girls traveled to Sac City as they played East Sac County at the Sac City Country Club.
