  Eugene J. Monahan departed this life surrounded by his family on January 25, 2015 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, Iowa. He lived his life to the age of 92 years, 4 months and 10 days.          

Holy Rosary was prayed at 6:30 pm followed by a Vigil service at the church on Wednesday evening.

The Brown Funeral Home of Churdan was assisting the family.
