A member of Calhoun County’s Zoning Board passed along his desire to update the county’s zoning ordinances to the Board of Supervisors last week.
Supervisor Mike Cooper said Rick Peters, who serves on the Zoning Board, was expressing interest in the county setting aside funding for a review and update of the zoning rules.

Mike Moeller, who oversees zoning for the county, said he had planned to ask the supervisors about budgeting for such a project. The county adopted the original ordinance in 2000 and made some amendments in 2015.
