Community, students honor Martin with exercise

With loud music fueling them, community members and teachers tackled a physical challenge in the South Central Calhoun High School wellness room Wednesday afternoon – the Justin Martin challenge.
The event required participants to do 11 and 40 repetitions of several exercises, including box jumps, deadlifts, throwing and catching a medicine ball and pushups.
The challenge was hard, community member Nicole Meyer said.
“Randy Martin was my principal in high school,” she added. “I just wanted to something to honor Justin.”
