Attorneys request continuance for trial of woman accused of vehicular homicide

The trial date for a Pomeroy woman accused of killing a Manson resident in a crash last June is set for later this month.
Court documents show attorneys for Jewell Casey, 55, have asked for the trial date be pushed back, however.
Casey was charged in September with one count of vehicular homicide, a class C felony, which is punishable with up to 10 years in prison and a fine of $1,000 to $10,000, for the June 23 death of Eugene Zinnell.
